Western Financial Account Servicing Referral Partnership Program

Western Financial's success is a result of our commitment to customer service and building relationships that are beneficial to everyone. We strive to provide value to our business partners as well as to our customers. This commitment will result in long term, ongoing relationships that are important to both our companies.

The Program

Western Financial will provide you with a marketing piece to be inserted in the envelope when you mail the beneficiary's check and statement. If your client desires a quote for the purchase of all or part of their note, they simply fill out the information asked for on the marketing piece and send it to Western Financial. Western Financial will then fax a copy of the marketing piece to your account-servicing department asking for the necessary information to allow us to give an accurate quote as to the value of the note. All quotes are provided free of charge with no obligation and are considered to be confidential.

Why Sell a Note?

When your client sold their property they carried back a note because:

  • Payor's credit was not up to lender's standards
  • Payor was unstable or had no employment
  • Payor had an inadequate down payment
  • Payor had too much debt
  • Sellers decided that they would rather have payments than cash because of taxes or other reasons

Over time, people's needs change and your client may need all or part of his/her money now to pay for such things as:

Protecting Your Accounts

When a seller decides to sell their note, they do so without regard for the impact it has on the servicer. When Western Financial buys a note for its own portfolio, we leave the servicing in place. If we are going to sell the note to a third party investor, we will negotiate to have the servicing remain at your title company.

Your Opportunity for Additional Income

When Western Financial purchases a note from your client we provide additional income opportunities to the servicing title company. These include:

  • Opening of an escrow for each transaction
  • Purchasing either a new title policy or an endorsement to an existing policy for each transaction
  • All future transactions involving the note are handled through the servicing title company
